License Grant. Artefact, LLC grants you a license to use one copy of the Software. "Use" means storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying the Software. You may not modify the Software or disable any licensing or control feature of the Software. Depending on the purchased registration key you should adhere to either SINGLE USER or PROFESSIONAL USER license terms. SINGLE USER. Artefact, LLC grants you a license to use this copy for your personal needs only. You cannot use this copy for professional purposes such as in speech therapy offices, clinics and hospitals. You cannot share or lend this Software or registration keys to your patients and clients. If you are interested in using the DAF/FAF Assistant in the professional activity you have to purchase the DAF/FAF Assistant Professional version. PROFESSIONAL USER. Artefact, LLC grants you a license to use this copy of the Software for your professional activity. You can use this copy on any single computer in a speech therapy office, clinic or hospital or any other place related to the speech therapist professional activity. You can allow your clients and patients to use the Software as long as they use it on your computer. You cannot make copies for your clients or patients. You cannot share your registration key with your clients or patients. If required your clients and patients have to purchase the DAF/FAF Assistant Single User version. Ownership. The Software is owned and copyrighted by Artefact, LLC or its third party suppliers. Your license confers no title to, ownership in the Software and is not a sale of any rights in the Software. Artefact, LLC's third party suppliers may protect thier rights in the event of any violation of these License Terms. Copies and Adaptions. You may only make copies or adaptions of the Software for archival purposes or when copying or adaption is an essential step in the authorized use of the Software. You must reproduce all copyright notices in the original Software on all copies or adaptions. You may not copy the Software onto any public network. No Disassembly or Decryption. You may not disassemble or decompile the Software unless Artefact, LLC's prior written consent is obtained. In some jurisdictions, Artefact, LLC's consent may not be required for limited disassembly or decompilation. Upon request, you will provide with reasonably detailed information regarding any disassembly or decompilation. You may not decrypt the Software unless decryption is a necessary part of the operation of the Software. Transfer. Your license will automatically terminate upon any transfer of the Software. Upon transfer, you must deliver the Software including any copies and related documents, to the transferee. The transferee must accept these license terms as a condition to the transfer. Termination. Artefact, LLC may terminate your license upon notice for failure to comply with any of the license terms. Upon termination, you must immediately destroy the Software, together with all copies, adaptations and merged portions in any form. Warranty Disclaimers and Liability Limitations The DAF/FAF Assistant and any and all accompanying software, files, data and materials, are distributed and provided AS IS and with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied and you hereby assume the entire risk of using the Software. This disclaimer of warranty constitutes an essential part of this License. Any liability of Artefact, LLC will be limited exclusively to refund of purchase price, if any. In addition, in no event shall Artefact, LLC, or its owners, members, principals, shareholders, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, subsidiaries, or parent organizations, be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever relating to the use of DAF/FAF Assistant, or to your relationship with Artefact, LLC. In addition, in no event does Artefact, LLC authorize you to use DAF/FAF Assistant in applications or systems where DAF/FAF Assistant's failure to perform can reasonably be expected to result in a significant physical injury, or in loss of life. Any such use by you is entirely at your own risk, and you agree to hold Artefact, LLC harmless from any and all claims or losses relating to such unauthorized use.
