Software License Agreement This legal document is an agreement between you, the end user (‘User’), and Philosoft Ltd (‘Author’). localTrezor SOFTWARE - The localTrezor software (''Software'') consists of two individual applications: the localTrezorServer server application and the localTrezor client application. These two applications make up a software system in the manner that one copy of the server application can serve out more client applications at the same time. The applications are unusable and unoperable separately. AGREEMENT - By installing and/or copying the Software and/or clicking on the ‘I Agree’ button during installation, you agree to all of the terms of this software license agreement (‘Agreement’). If you do not agree with all of the terms of this agreement, click on the ‘I Do Not Agree’ button and/or do not install, copy or otherwise use the software. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY - The Software and any associated materials are protected by copyright law concerning all Intellectual Property Rights in effect here and worldwide. ‘Intellectual Property Rights’ means any and all rights existing from time to time under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, unfair competition law, and any and all other proprietary rights, and any and all applications, renewals, extensions and restorations thereof, now or hereafter in force and effect worldwide. The package is a proprietary product of the Author. You acknowledge that the Author owns all rights, title, ownership and interest in and to the Software. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Software. TRIAL PERIOD - You may download and use the Software for free for thirty (30) days after installation (''Trial Period''). During Trial Period, the Author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and to use the Software. A built-in protection automatically disables all features of the Software at the end of the Trial Period. If you decide not to use the Software any longer, you have to remove the Software from your computer(s). USING THE SOFTWARE AFTER TRIAL PERIOD - If - either during, or after Trial Period - you decide to continue using the Software, you need to send an order form to [email protected]. After buying the licence you will get a Licence Key from the Author, which you have to set at the next application startup. For the terms of this Agreement you may: (a) install and use the localTrezorServer application on a single computer, (b) install and use the localTrezor client application on any number of computers and (c) copy the Software for back-up or archival purposes only. Subject to the terms in this agreement, the Author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and to use the standard version of the Software. You may not sell, lease, publish, license, sub-license or create derivative works from any software, materials or information associated with the Software, without first obtaining written permission from the Author by contacting [email protected]. SOFTWARE SUPPORT - Any request for technical help concerning the usage of the Software can be addressed to the Author by e-mail, to [email protected] UPGRADES - This license does not entitle you to any future upgrades or updates of software, although the Author may decide to make such upgrades or updates freely available. If you have comments about the Software or ideas on how to improve it, please e-mail [email protected]. Please note that by doing so, you also grant the Author permission to use and incorporate your ideas or comments into the Software without further compensation. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY: THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR ‘AS IS’ AND ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. TERMINATION - This Agreement shall terminate automatically if you fail to comply with the all terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software. GOVERNING LAW - All litigations concerning this Agreement shall be settled in Hungary by the laws in effect on the territory of the Hungarian Republic at the time of the agreement.
