Sorax Reader - END USERS LICENSE AGREEMENT Please read the terms and conditions of this license agreement (the "License") before installing the Sorax Reader ("Software"). By installing, copying or using any portion of the Software, you accept all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not accept the terms of the present Agreement, you may not install or use the Software. This License constitutes the entire agreement concerning the Software between you and Sorax Software Company (Sorax/Licensor) and it supersedes any prior proposal or representation. Definition: Software means computer software, or may also include online or electronic documentation, as well as Internet-based services. 1. Software License The Software is protected by copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other laws concerning intellectual property rights and contracts. The present Agreement does not grant you any property rights; it only permits you the use of the software. 2. The Extent of the Users License The Software may be copied, disseminated and used without restrictions. 3. Further Rights and Restrictions 3.1 Restrictions pertaining to reverse engineering and analysis. You shall not: a) modify or adapt the Software, or make any attempts to do so, b) attempt any analysis that exceeds the intended use of the Software or is aimed at the exploration of its internal structure, c) use reverse engineering or disassembling to recover the source code, d) use the Software in such a way that might breach any rights or intellectual property rights. 3.2 Technical Support The Licensor can provide technical support for the Licensee. Any supplementary software codes made available to you by the Licensor are to be regarded as part of the Software, and fall under the rights and restrictions specified in this Agreement. As part of the Technical Support, any information you supply to the Licensor may - in the absence of a special agreement - be used for business purposes, including Technical Support or product development. Information of this kind will not be used by the Licensor in a way that your person could be revealed. 3.3 Transfer of the Software Any rights provided by this Agreement are transferable by handing over all the copies, its components, textual materials and updates of the Software. The rights and restrictions of this Agreement apply to the recipient as well. 3.4 Withdrawal of the License Agreement The Licensor has the right of unilateral withdrawal of the Agreement in case the Licensee breaches the Agreement. In this case, the Licensee is obliged to destroy all the copies and component parts of the Software. 3.5 Updates If the Software is an Update to a previous version of the Software, you must possess a valid license to a previous (upgrade) version in order to use such an Update. In case the Software is an upgrade version, it exchanges and/or complements any previous version of the Software that served as a basis for the upgrade. You are only allowed to use the upgraded version if you respect the instructions of this Agreement. In case the Software is an update of an item of a previously licensed software package, you may only use or transfer the rights to the Software as part of the integrated program package, while you may not disconnect the Software for usage on more than one computer. 3.6. Copyright The Software and all its written documentation is the property of Sorax and its suppliers. The trademarks found on the Software and its documentation are the property of Sorax. Its copy or use that might exceed the limitations prescribed by this Agreement is only possible with a written agreement from the Licensor. 4. Liability and Maintenance 4.1 Limitation of Liability Under no circumstances will Sorax be liable to you or any other person or entity for any direct or indirect damages.
